But no; I swear by what you see, 38 And what you do not see, 39 That it is indeed the speech of an illustrious messenger. 40 And it is not the word of a poet; little is it that you believe; 41 Nor the word of a soothsayer; little do you remember. 42 It is a revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 43 Had he invented against Us any sayings, 44 We would indeed have seized him by his right hand, 45 and would indeed have cut his life-vein. 46 And there is no one of you who could prevent [Us] from him. 47 And lo! it is a warrant unto those who ward off (evil). 48 We certainly know that some of you have rejected it 49 And indeed, it will be [a cause of] regret upon the disbelievers. 50 This is the Truth beyond any doubt. 51 Then magnify the Name of thy Lord, the All-mighty. 52
