Daybreak (Al-Falaq)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Elephant (Al-Feel) before People (Al-Naas)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Proclaim (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “I take refuge of the One Who creates the Daybreak.” 1 From the evil of what He has created, 2 “And from the evil of the matter that darkens when it sets.” 3 from the evil of the blowers on knots; 4 “And from the evil of the envier when he is envious of me.” 5

True are the words of God the Almighty.
