O Prophet! Command your wives and your daughters and the women of the Muslims to cover their faces with a part of their cloaks; this is closer to their being recognised and not being harassed; and Allah is Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful. (It is incumbent upon women to cover themselves properly.) 59 ۞ If the hypocrites and those in whose hearts is a disease and the agitators in the city do not desist, We shall most certainly set you over them, then they shall not be your neighbors in it but for a little while; 60 Accursed; wherever found they shall be laid hold of and slain with a relentless slaughter. 61 This has been Allah's Way with those who have gone before, and you shall find no change in Allah's Way. 62 People ask thee ccncerning the Hour. Say thou: the knowledge thereof is only with Allah: and what knowest thou! belike the Hour is nigh. 63 Verily Allah hath cursed the infidels, and hath gotten ready for them a Blaze. 64 therein to dwell for ever; they shall find neither protector nor helper. 65 The Day that their faces will be turned upside down in the Fire, they will say: "Woe to us! Would that we had obeyed Allah and obeyed the Messenger!" 66 They will say, "Lord, we obeyed our chiefs and elders and they caused us to go astray. 67 O our Lord! give them a double punishment and curse them with a great curse. 68
