The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
22 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Sun (Al-Shams) before The Fig (Al-Teen)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
By the heaven of the constellations! 1 By the Promised Day! 2 and by the witness and what is witnessed: 3 The companions of the pit were killed 4 Fire supplied (abundantly) with fuel: 5 when they were seated over it 6 And they were witnesses of what they did with the believers. 7 They had naught against them save that they believed in Allah, the Mighty, the Owner of Praise, 8 and the One to whom belongs the heavens and the earth. God is the Witness of all things. 9 Those who persecute the believing men and women without repenting will suffer the torment of hell and that of the burning fire. 10 Surely (as for) those who believe and do good, they shall have gardens beneath which rivers flow, that is the great achievement. 11 The grip of your Lord is indeed severe, 12 Lo! He it is Who produceth, then reproduceth, 13 and He is the All-forgiving, the All-loving, 14 Honorable Owner of the Throne, 15 a sovereign doer of whatever He wills. 16 Have you not heard the story of the hosts 17 of the Pharaoh and Thamud? 18 And yet the Unbelievers (persist) in rejecting (the Truth)! 19 While Allah encompasses them from behind. 20 Nay! it is a glorious Quran, 21 (Inscribed) in a Tablet Preserved! 22
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
