The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)

8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

When the earth will be shaken with a mighty shaking, 1 and when the earth brings forth its burdens 2 And man cries (distressed): 'What is the matter with her?'- 3 On that day earth will narrate its news, 4 Because thy Lord will inspire her. 5 On that Day mankind shall issue in scatterings to see their deeds. 6 and whoso has done an atom's weight of good shall see it, 7 And he who has done an atom's weight of evil shall see it. 8

True are the words of God the Almighty.
