Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate

The mutual rivalry for piling up of worldly things diverts you, 1 Until ye visit the graves. 2 Yes certainly, you will soon realise! 3 Again, yes certainly, you will soon realise! 4 Indeed, did you know with certain knowledge 5 You will be shown hell 6 Then you will see it with the eye of certainty. 7 Then, on that Day, you will be called to account for all the bounties you enjoyed. 8

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
