(Muhammad) say, "I am only a warner. The only Lord is God, the Almighty. 65 Lord of the heavens and earth and everything between them, the Almighty, the Most Forgiving." 66 Say: "This is a momentous message, 67 Ye are therefrom averting. 68 I had no knowledge of the High Assembly's dispute. 69 had it not been revealed unto me [by God] - to no other end than that I might convey [unto you] a plain warning. 70 When your Lord told the angels, "I will create a mortal out of clay, 71 When I have shaped him, and breathed My spirit in him, fall you down, bowing before him!' 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together: 73 Saving Iblis; he was scornful and became one of the disbelievers. 74 God said, "Satan, what prevented you from prostrating yourself to what I created with My own Hands? Were you overcome by arrogance, or are you of those who think [only] of themselves as exalted?" 75 He said, "I am better than him. You have created me from fire and him out of clay". 76 He said: “Get out of here; surely you are accursed, 77 Upon thee shall rest My curse, till the Day of Doom.' 78 But Satan said, "My Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection," 79 The Lord said, "You will only be given a respite 80 till the Day the time whereof is known [only to Me]." 81 He said: Then, by Thy might, I surely will beguile them every one, 82 [all] save such of them as are truly Thy servants!" 83 He (i.e. Allah) said: “This is the Truth -- and I only speak the Truth -- 84 I shall certainly fill Gehenna with you and every one of them that follows you' 85 SAY [O Prophet]: "No reward whatever do I ask of you for this [message]; and I am not one of those who claim to be what they are not. 86 It is but a reminder to the worlds. 87 You will come to know its truth in time." 88
