Lo, the Tree of Ez-Zakkoum 43 The food of the sinner! 44 Like dregs of oil, it will boil in their bellies 45 Like the boiling of scalding water. 46 [And the word will be spoken:] "Seize him, [O you forces of hell,] and drag him into the midst of the blazing fire: 47 then pour over his head the chastisement of boiling water!' 48 "Taste thou (this)! Truly wast thou mighty, full of honour! 49 "Truly this is what ye used to doubt!" 50 Lo! those who kept their duty will be in a place secured. 51 among gardens and fountains, 52 Dressed in fine silk and in rich brocade, they will face each other; 53 Thus shall it be: and We shall espouse them to fair, wide-eyed maidens. 54 They will call therein for every [kind of] fruit - safe and secure. 55 There they shall not taste death, except the first death, and He will shield them from the punishment of Hell, 56 A bounty from thy Lord. That! that is the supreme achievement. 57 And We have made this Qur’an easy in your language, for them to understand. 58 Wait, then; they too are waiting. 59
