All that lives on earth or in the heavens is bound to pass away: 26 But abiding is the glory of your Lord, full of majesty and beneficence. 27 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 28 Of Him seeks (its need) every creature in the heavens and on earth: every day in (new) Splendour doth He (shine)! 29 Which, then, of the benefits of your Lord will ye twain belie? 30 We shall soon be free to turn to you, O weary caravans, 31 Which then of the bounties of your Lord will you deny? 32 O company of jinn and men, if you have the power to go beyond the bounds of the heavens and the earth, go beyond them! Yet you will be unable to go beyond them for that requires infinite power. 33 So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny? 34 A flash of fire will be let loose upon you, and smoke, and you will be left without succour! 35 Which, then, of your Sustainer's powers can you disavow? 36 (What will happen) when the heaven will be split asunder and will become crimson like leather? 37 So O men and jinns! Which favour of your Lord will you deny? 38 On that Day no question will be asked of man or Jinn as to his sin. 39 (We shall see) which of the favours of your Lord will you twain – you men and jinn – then deny? 40 The culprits will be recognised by their marks, and will be lain hold of by the forelocks and the feet. 41 Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? 42 (The guilty ones will be told), "This is hell which the sinful ones denied". 43 In its midst and in the midst of boiling hot water will they wander round! 44 Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? 45
