And indeed We created towers in the skies, and beautified it for the beholders. 16 and guarded them from every accursed Satan 17 Except for he who steals the listening and is then pursued by a visible flame. 18 We have spread out the earth and set upon it firm mountains. Everything We have caused to grow therein is justly weighed; 19 And We have provided therein means of subsistence,- for you and for those for whose sustenance ye are not responsible. 20 For, no single thing exists that does not have its source with Us; and nought do We bestow from on high unless it be in accordance with a measure well-defined. 21 And We sent the winds that relieve the clouds’ burden, therefore caused water to descend from the sky, then give it to you to drink; and you are not at all its treasurers. 22 Lo! and it is We, even We, Who quicken and give death, and We are the Inheritor. 23 And indeed, We know the first generations of you who had passed away, and indeed, We know the present generations of you (mankind), and also those who will come afterwards. 24 and it is thy Lord shall muster them, and He is All-wise, All-knowing. 25
