Has there come to you information about the honored guests of Ibrahim? 24 When they entered unto him, saying 'Peace!' he said 'Peace! You are a people unknown to me.' 25 Then he turned quietly to his household, and brought forth a fat [roasted] calf, 26 And placed it before them.. he said, "Will ye not eat?" 27 Then he conceived a fear of them (when they ate not). They said: "Fear not." And they gave him glad tidings of an intelligent son, having knowledge (about Allah and His religion of True Monotheism). 28 Then his wife came forward with a loud voice, she smote her face, and said: "A barren old woman!" 29 They answered: "Thus has thy Sustainer decreed; and verily, He alone is truly wise, all-knowing!" 30 ۞ 'Messengers' said he (Abraham), 'what is your errand' 31 They replied, "We have been sent to a sinful people 32 to loose upon them stones of clay 33 Marked, from before thy Lord, for the extravagant. 34 Then We evacuated those of the Believers who were there, 35 And We found not within them other than a [single] house of Muslims. 36 We left a sign in this for those who fear the grievous punishment, 37 And also in Moses, when We sent him unto Pharaoh, with a clear authority, 38 But Pharaoh turned away, showing arrogance on account of his power, and said (about Moses): “He is either a sorcerer or a madman.” 39 We seized him and his army and threw them into the sea. He himself was to be blamed. 40 And in (the tribe of) A'ad (there is a portent) when we sent the fatal wind against them. 41 It spared naught that it reached, but made it (all) as dust. 42 And in the Thamud (was another Sign): Behold, they were told, "Enjoy (your brief day) for a little while!" 43 They transgressed against the command of their Lord. So a blast of sound struck them and they were unable to do anything but stare. 44 And they were unable to arise, nor could they defend themselves. 45 And before them, We destroyed the people of Nooh; they were indeed a sinning nation. 46
