No, by the moon! 32 Consider the night when it departs, 33 and the dawn when it is white, 34 Indeed hell is one of the greatest entities. 35 as a warner to mortals. 36 To any of you that chooses to press forward, or to follow behind;- 37 Each one is a hostage to one's deeds, 38 Except the people of the right hand, 39 In Gardens they will question 40 Of evil-doers: 41 "What has brought you into hell-fire?" 42 They shall say, 'We were not of those who prayed, and 43 Nor did we feed the wretched. 44 “And used to dwell on evil matters with those who think evilly.” 45 and we gave the lie to the Day of Judgement 46 Until there came to us the certainty." 47 So the intercession of intercessors shall not avail them. 48 What is then the matter with them, that they turn away from the admonition 49 as though they were terrified asses 50 Fleeing from a lion? 51 Aye! every one of them desireth that: he should be vouchsafed scrolls expanded. 52 By no means! Aye, they fear not the Hereafter. 53 No! Indeed, the Qur'an is a reminder 54 So, whoever wills, will remember it. 55 And they shall not heed unless Allah willeth. He is the Lord of piety, and the Lord of forgiveness. 56
