۞ AND [there came a time when] We inspired Moses thus: "Go forth with My servants by night: for, behold, you will be pursued!" 52 Then Pharaoh sent among the cities gatherers 53 Most surely these are a small company; 54 They are always harassing us. 55 We are warning all of you about them." 56 So We expelled them from gardens, springs, 57 and their treasures and excellent dwellings. 58 even so, and We bequeathed them upon the Children of Israel. 59 At sunrise they set off in pursuit of them 60 and, when the two hosts sighted each other, the companions of Moses said, 'We are overtaken!' 61 Said Moosa, “Never! Indeed my Lord is with me, He will now show me the way.” 62 Thereupon We inspired Moses thus: Strike the sea with thy staff!" - whereupon it parted, and each part appeared like a mountain vast. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 We delivered Moses and all those who were with him, 65 then We drowned the others. 66 Verily there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 And verily thy Lord is He, the Exalted in Might, Most Merciful. 68
