The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High, 1 who creates [every thing,] and thereupon forms it in accordance with what it is meant to be, 2 decreed their destinies, and provided them with guidance. 3 who brings forth green pasture, 4 Then reduces them to rusty rubbish. 5 We shall make thee recite, to forget not 6 Except what Allah wills; indeed He knows all the evident and all the concealed. 7 And We shall ease thy way unto the state of ease. 8 So render good counsel if good counsel will avail. 9 Soon whoever fears will heed advice. 10 And the wretched shunneth it. 11 He who will be flung to the great Fire 12 Then he will neither die in it, nor live. 13 Prosperous is he who purifies himself, 14 and remembers the Name of his Lord, so he prays. 15 Nay (behold), ye prefer the life of this world; 16 but the Everlasting Life is better, and more enduring. 17 Surely, this is in the ancient Scrolls, 18 the Scrolls of Abraham and Moses. 19
