And indeed this Qur’an has been sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 192 brought down by the Faithful Spirit 193 upon your heart (Prophet Muhammad), in order to be one of the warners, 194 In eloquent Arabic. 195 And verily, [the essence of] this [revelation] is indeed found in the ancient books of divine wisdom [as well]. 196 Is it not evidence enough for them that the learned among the Children of Israel have recognized this [as true]? 197 And had We sent it down upon a person other than an Arab, 198 And he had recited it unto them, they would not have believed in it. 199 Even so We have caused it to enter into the hearts of the sinners, 200 They will not believe in it until they clearly see the grievous chastisement. 201 And it will come to them suddenly while they perceive [it] not. 202 They will say, "Can we be granted any respite?" 203 So do they wish to hasten Our punishment? 204 Tell Me, if We do let them enjoy for years, 205 And then what they were promised comes upon them, 206 It will profit them not that they enjoyed (this life)! 207 And never did We destroy a township, but it had its warners 208 By way of admonition, and We have never been oppressors. 209 Not by the Satans has it been brought down; 210 it behoves them not, neither are they able. 211 Lo! verily they are banished from the hearing. 212 So call not on any other god with Allah, or thou wilt be among those under the Penalty. 213 And warn thy clan, thy nearest kin. 214 And lower thou thy wing unto those who follow thee as believers. 215 If they disobey you, say, "I bear no responsibility for what you do." 216 Have trust in the Majestic and All-merciful God, 217 Who sees you when you stand up. 218 And your movement among those who prostrate. 219 For it is He Who heareth and knoweth all things. 220 Shall I tell you upon whom the devils descend? 221 They descend upon every sinful liar. 222 They pass on what is heard, and most of them are liars. 223 And the poets - [only] the deviators follow them; 224 Do you not see that in every valley they roam 225 And that they say what they do not do? - 226 Except those who believe (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism), and do righteous deeds, and remember Allah much, and reply back (in poetry) to the unjust poetry (which the pagan poets utter against the Muslims). And those who do wrong will come to know by what overturning they will be overturned. 227
