The Unbelievers say: "What! when we become dust,- we and our fathers,- shall we really be raised (from the dead)? 67 We have been promised this, we and our forefathers, before. This is not but legends of the former peoples." 68 Say, [O Muhammad], "Travel through the land and observe how was the end of the criminals." 69 Do not sorrow for them, nor be thou straitened for what they devise. 70 They ask, "When will this promise be fulfilled, if what you say be true?" 71 Say: "Perhaps some of what you wish to hasten is right behind you." 72 Now, verily, thy Sustainer is indeed limitless in His bounty unto men - but most of them are bereft of gratitude. 73 And most surely your Lord knows what their breasts conceal and what they manifest. 74 And there is nothing concealed within the heaven and the earth except that it is in a clear Register. 75 Surely this Qur'an explains to the Children of Israel most of the matters concerning which they have disagreements 76 And lo! it is a guidance and a mercy for believers. 77 Surely thy Lord will decide between them by His Judgment; He is the All-mighty, the All-knowing. 78 So you place your trust in God. Certainly you stand on positive truth. 79 You cannot make the dead listen and the deaf are unable to hear calls. Thus, they turn back on their heels. 80 Nor do you guide the blind out of their error, nor do you make any to hear, except those who believe in Our verses and are Muslims. 81 ۞ And when the time for the fulfilment of Our Word against them will come, We shall bring forth for them a beast from the earth who will speak to them because people did not believe in Our Signs. 82
