If We grant long life to any, We cause him to be reversed in nature: Will they not then understand? 68 We have not taught him poetry; it is not seemly for him. It is only a Remembrance and a Clear Koran, 69 That it may warn him who would have life, and (that) the word may prove true against the unbelievers. 70 Do they not see that We have created cattle for them, out of what Our hands have wrought, so they are their masters? 71 And We have subdued them unto them, so that some of them they have for riding and on some of them they feed? 72 And they have therefrom other benefits and drinks. Will they not then give thanks? 73 They have set up other gods besides God, hoping to be helped by them, 74 Those deities can render them no help. Yet these devotees act as though they were an army in waiting for them. 75 So let not their speech grieve thee (O Muhammad). Lo! We know what they conceal and what proclaim. 76 Does not man see that We have created him from the small seed? Then lo! he is an open disputant. 77 And he has struck for Us a similitude and forgotten his creation; he says, 'Who shall quicken the bones when they are decayed?' 78 Say: He will give life to them Who brought them into existence at first, and He is cognizant of all creation 79 "The same Who produces for you fire out of the green tree, when behold! ye kindle therewith (your own fires)! 80 Is not He, who created the heavens and earth, able to create the like of them? Yes indeed; He is the All-creator, the All-knowing. 81 His command, when He intends anything, is only to say to it: Be, so it is. 82 Limitless, then, in His glory is He in whose hand rests the mighty dominion over all things; and unto Him you all will be brought back! 83
