And certainly We conferred a favor on Musa and Haroun. 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 And helped them, so they were victorious. 116 And We bestowed the clear Book to both of them. 117 guided them to the right path, 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 Elijah too was one of the messengers. 123 (Call to mind) when he said to his people: “Will you not fear Allah? 124 Do you call on Baal, and abandon the Best of creators? 125 God, your Lord, and the Lord of your fathers, the ancients?' 126 Then they belied him, so verily they are to be brought up. 127 Except the chosen creatures of God. 128 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon him in the latter (generations), 129 Peace be upon Ilyas! 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 Lo! he is one of our believing slaves. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 When We delivered him and his followers, all-- 134 Except an old woman, who became of those who stayed behind. 135 and We destroyed the others. 136 And indeed, you pass by them in the morning 137 And by night: will ye not understand? 138
