Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 sparks of fire striking, 2 as they gallop to make raids at dawn, 3 And raise the dust in clouds the while, 4 dividing the gathering. 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 He himself bears witness to that. 7 And most surely he is tenacious in the love of wealth. 8 ۞ Does he not know that on the day when those in the graves are resurrected 9 and that which is in the breasts is brought out -- 10 Most surely their Lord that day shall be fully aware of them. 11
God Almighty has spoken the truth.
