Al-Hummazah

The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Woe to every fault-finding backbiter; 1 Who has gathered wealth and counted it, 2 Does he think his wealth will abide for ever with him? 3 By no means! He will be sure to be thrown into That which Breaks to Pieces, 4 And what shall make thee know that which the Crushing Fire is? 5 (It is) the Fire of (the Wrath of) Allah kindled (to a blaze), 6 which will rise over the [guilty] hearts: 7 (And) vaults them over 8 In outstretched columns. 9

Almighty Allah's Truth.
