O YOU APOSTLES! Partake of the good things of life, and do righteous deeds: verily, I have full knowledge of all that you do. 51 And verily! This your religion (of Islamic Monotheism) is one religion, and I am your Lord, so keep your duty to Me. 52 But then they divided up their order into different creeds, each section rejoicing in what it had come to have. 53 Therefore leave them in their overwhelming ignorance till 54 Think they that in the wealth and sons wherewith We provide them 55 We are hastening them on to good things? Aye! they perceive not. 56 Surely they who from fear of their Lord are cautious, 57 And those who believe in the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of their Lord, 58 who associate none with their Lord in His Divinity, 59 and those who give what they give, their hearts quaking that they are returning to their Lord -- 60 Are the ones who hasten to goodness and outpace the others. 61 We charge no soul with more than it can bear. We have a Book with Us which speaks the truth, and they shall not be wronged. 62 But their hearts are in confused ignorance of this; and there are, besides that, deeds of theirs, which they will (continue) to do,- 63 But when We will strike with torment those (unbelievers) who are rich, they will start to cry for help. 64 Invoke not loudly this day! Certainly, you shall not be helped by Us. 65 My revelations were recited to you, but you turned your backs 66 In arrogance regarding it, conversing by night, speaking evil. 67 Do they not ponder over the Word (of Allah), or has anything (new) come to them that did not come to their fathers of old? 68 Or did they not recognise their apostle, and rejected him? 69 Do they say he is possessed? Rather he has brought them the truth, but most of them are averse to the truth. 70 And were the truth to follow their desires there would have been corrupted the heavens and the earth and whatsoever is therein. Aye! We have come to them with their admonition; so it is from their admonition that they turn away. 71 Or is it that thou askest them for some recompense? But the recompense of thy Lord is best: He is the Best of those who give sustenance. 72 And indeed you call them to the Straight Path. 73 And indeed those who do not believe in the Hereafter are deviated from the Straight Path. 74 ۞ Though We had mercy on them and relieved them of the harm afflicting them, they still would wander blindly on in their contumacy. 75 And already We overtook them with chastisement, but they were not submissive to their Lord, nor do they humble themselves. 76 when We opened on them a gate of severe punishment, they utterly despaired. 77
