۞ It is Allah who has subjected to you the sea so that ships run upon it at His command, and so that you may seek His bounty and be thankful. 12 And He has subjected to you whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth - all from Him. Indeed in that are signs for a people who give thought. 13 Tell the believers to forgive those who do not have faith in the days of God (Day of Judgment) and Resurrection. God will give due recompense to all the people for their deeds. 14 Whosoever worketh righteously, worketh for himself; and whosoever doth evil, doth against himself; then unto your Lord ye will be made to return. 15 And assuredly. We vouchsafed unto the Children of Israil the Book and the wisdom and the propherhood, and We provided them with good things and preferred them above the worlds. 16 We gave them clear signs of the Command; so they differed not, except after the knowledge had come to them, being insolent one to another. Surely thy Lord will decide between them on the Day of Resurrection touching their differences. 17 And finally, [O Muhammad,] We have set thee on a way by which the purpose [of faith] may be fulfilled: so follow thou this [way,] and follow not the likes and dislikes of those who do not know [the truth]. 18 They will never be sufficient (protection) for you in place of God. The unjust are each other's friends, but God is the guardian of the pious ones. 19 These are clear evidences to men and a Guidance and Mercy to those of assured Faith. 20 Or do those who commit evil deeds think that We shall make them as those who believe and do righteous deeds, equal their living and their dying? How ill they judge! 21
