Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
60 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Dunes (Al-Ahqaaf) before Overwhelming (Al-Ghaasheyah)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the winds that scatter the dust, 1 which carry clouds laden with water, 2 And those [ships] sailing with ease 3 and distributing the command of God at His behest! 4 Verily, that which you are promised is true indeed, 5 And the judgment must most surely come about. 6 By the Sky with (its) numerous Paths, 7 surely you are at variance (about the Hereafter); 8 and perverted therefrom are some. 9 Perish the conjecturers 10 they who blunder along, in ignorance lost 11 They ask: When is the day of judgment? 12 On the Day of Judgment they will be punished by the fire 13 Taste your persecution! this is what you would hasten on. 14 The righteous shall live among gardens and fountains, 15 Accepting what their Lord has given them. Indeed, they were before that doers of good. 16 they used to sleep but little by night, 17 And in the dawns they prayed for forgiveness. 18 and in their wealth was a share for whosoever asked and for whosoever was prevented. 19 For those with sure belief there are signs in the earth, 20 And also in your own selves. Behold ye not? 21 And in heaven is your Sustenance, as (also) that which ye are promised. 22 So by the Lord of heaven and earth, it is as surely true as that you have speech. 23

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
