Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

AND, INDEED, We have set up in the heavens great constellations, and endowed them with beauty for all to behold; 16 And We have guarded it from every Satan damned. 17 Except one who comes to eavesdrop – therefore a bright flame goes after him. 18 And We spread out the earth, and placed mountains as anchors in it, and in it grew all things by a proper measure. 19 And We have provided therein means of living, for you and for those whom you provide not [moving (living) creatures, cattle, beasts, and other animals]. 20 With Us is the source of everything and We do not send it down except in a known quantity. 21 And We loose the winds fertilising, and We send down out of heaven water, then We give it to you to drink, and you are not its treasurers. 22 for, behold, it is We - We alone - who grant life and deal death, and it is We alone who shall remain after all else will have passed away! 23 And verily We know the eager among you and verily We know the laggards. 24 And verily, your Lord will gather them together. Truly, He is All-Wise, All-Knowing. 25
