And indeed We have created man and We know what his soul instils in him; and We are nearer to him than the hearts artery. 16 When both receivers (the angels) receive, one on his right, the other on his left, 17 whatever phrase he utters, an observer is present. 18 And [then,] the twilight of death brings with it the [full] truth that [very thing, O man,] from which thou wouldst always look away! 19 The trumpet will certainly be sounded. This will be the day (about which you) were threatened. 20 Everyone has come, each attended by one who will drive him on, and another who will bear witness. 21 Assuredly thou wast in neglect thereof; now We have removed from off thee thy veil, so thy sight Today is piercing. 22 And his companion will say: 'This is that which I have present' 23 Cast ye twain into Hell every person rebellious, contumacious. 24 hinderer of good, transgressor, causing others to doubt, 25 and has set up another deity with Allah. Hurl him into the grievous torment.” 26 ۞ His Companion will say: "Our Lord! I did not make him transgress, but he was (himself) far astray." 27 Allah will say: wrangle not in My presence, and I had already proferred unto you the threat. 28 The judgment passed by Me shall not be altered; but never do I do the least wrong unto My creatures!" 29
