The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful
۞ When the event befalleth - 1 no soul will deny its coming. 2 abasing, exalting, 3 When the earth is violently shaken 4 and the mountains are totally shattered and crumble to pieces 5 So that they become a scattered dust, 6 You will become three categories: 7 Thus, there shall be such as will have attained to what is right: oh, how [happy] will be they who have attained to what is right! 8 And those on the Left Hand (i.e. those who will be given their Record in their left hands), Who will be those on the Left Hand? (As a disgrace for them, because they will enter Hell). 9 As for the Foremost, they will be the foremost! 10 It is they who are the close ones. 11 In the Gardens of delight (Paradise). 12 (a throng of the ancients 13 And a few of later ages, 14 upon close-wrought couches 15 Reclining on them, facing each other. 16 They will be served by immortal boys, 17 with goblets, and ewers, and a cup from a spring 18 Wherefrom they get no aching of the head nor any madness, 19 And fruit; that they may choose. 20 and any flesh of fowl that they desire. 21 And there will be fair ones large eyed. 22 Like pearls within their shells, 23 as reward for their deeds. 24 There hear they no vain speaking nor recrimination 25 Nought but the saying: peace! peace! 26 And those on the right – how (fortunate) are those on the right! 27 [They will be] among lote trees with thorns removed 28 And acacia covered with heaps of bloom, 29 Lengthened shadows, 30 And water poured out 31 And fruit, abundant [and varied], 32 Neither intercepted nor forbidden, 33 And carpets raised. 34 We have created maidens perfectly 35 and made them virgins, 36 intensely loving and of matching age. 37 For the companions of the right [who are] 38

كيف تعمل منظومة تمارين الحفظ؟ عند أدنى مستوى 0، تكون كل الكلمات ظاهرة. بينما يُخفي أعلى مستوى 9 كل الكلمات. فكيف تعمل المستويات المتوسطة، مثل 3، على سبيل المثال؟ قد تعتقد بأن المنظومة تخفي 3 من كل تسع كلمات بدقة. ليس تماما! في المستوى 3، لكل كلمة فرصة اختفاء بنسبة 3 من 9، و6 من 9 لتكون ظاهرة. بمعنى آخر، من الممكن، ولكن باحتمال شبة معدوم، أن تكون جميع كلمات المستوى 3 مخفية، أو أن تكون جميعها ظاهرة! وكذلك أيضًا، ففي المستويات المتوسطة، وبما يتناسب مع مستوى الصعوبة، يمكن أن تكون المخابئ غير كاملة أو شفافة جزئيًا بحيث تظهر الكلمات جزئيًا تحتها.
How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
