Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By oath of those that are sent, one after the other. (The verses of the Holy Qur’an or the angels or the winds). 1 and then storming on with a tempest's force, 2 And [by] the winds that spread [clouds] 3 separating one from another, 4 And by the angels that bring the revelations to the Messengers, 5 To excuse or to warn, 6 that which you have been promised shall be fulfilled. 7 So when the stars are obliterated 8 And when the sky is split apart. 9 when the mountains shall be scattered 10 And when the messengers are (all) appointed a time (to collect);- 11 For what Day are these signs postponed? 12 To the Day of Judgement. 13 And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement? 14 Woe that Day to the deniers (of the Day of Resurrection)! 15 Did We not destroy the earlier people? 16 So shall We make the later ones to follow them. 17 thus do We deal with the culprits. 18 Ruin is for the deniers on that day! 19 Created We you not of water despicable, 20 Which We laid up in a safe abode 21 For a known term? 22 We then calculated; so how excellently do We control! 23 Woe on that day to the rejecters. 24 Have We not made the earth a container 25 For the living and the dead among you? 26 Have We not placed high mountains upon it and filled you with sweet water? 27 Woe on that Day to those that give the lie to the Truth! 28 (It will be said:) "Depart ye to that which ye used to reject as false! 29 Go on towards the threefold shadow 30 “Which neither gives shade, nor saves from the flame.” 31 it indeed throws up sparks like castles, 32 which seem as though they are yellow-coloured camels. 33 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 34 That will be the Day on which they will not (be able to) utter a word, 35 And they will not be permitted to put forth any excuse. 36 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 37 that Day of Distinction [between the true and the false, when they will be told]: "We have brought you together with those [sinners] of olden times; 38 If you now have any conspiracy, carry it out on Me. 39 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 40
