۞ Then We revealed Our will to Moses, saying, "Set forth with My servants, in the night, for you will surely be pursued." 52 So Firon sent heralds into the cities; 53 saying: "These (Israelites) are only a small band of people 54 And most surely they have enraged us; 55 and we are a host on our guard.' 56 So We expelled them from gardens, springs, 57 and treasures and a noble station; 58 Thus it was: but [in the course of time] We were to bestow all these [things] as a heritage on the children of Israel. 59 Then they pursued them at sunrise. 60 And when the two bodies saw each other, the people of Moses said: "We are sure to be overtaken." 61 Moses replied: "By no means. My Lord is with me. He will show me the way." 62 We sent a revelation to Moses saying, "Strike the sea with your staff." The sea was rent asunder and each side stood high up like a huge mountain. 63 And We caused the pursuers to draw near unto that place: 64 We saved Moses and all the people with him 65 Then We drowned the others. 66 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 67 Your Lord is certainly Majestic and All-merciful. 68
