Muhammad (Muhammad)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
God will bring to naught all the good deeds of those who are bent on denying the truth and bar [others] from the path of God. 1 But those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, and believe in the (Revelation) sent down to Muhammad - for it is the Truth from their Lord,- He will remove from them their ills and improve their condition. 2 This, because they who are bent on denying the truth pursue falsehood, whereas they who have attained to faith pursue [but] the truth [that flows] from their Sustainer. In this way does God set forth unto man the parables of their true state. 3 When you meet the unbelievers, smite their necks, then, when you have made wide slaughter among them, tie fast the bonds; then set them free, either by grace or ransom, till the war lays down its loads. So it shall be; and if God had willed, He would have avenged Himself upon them; but that He may try some of you by means of others. And those who are slain in the way of God, He will not send their works astray. 4 He will soon guide them (towards Paradise) and make them succeed. 5 And bring them in unto the Garden which He hath made known to them. 6 O you who believe, if you help (in the cause of) God He will surely come to your aid, and firmly plant your feet. 7 And (as for) those who disbelieve, for them is destruction and He has made their deeds ineffective. 8 this, because they hate [the very thought of] what God has bestowed from on high and thus He causes all their deeds to come to nought! 9 ۞ Have they not journeyed through the land to see the end of those who went before them? Allah utterly destroyed them. These unbelievers are doomed to the same end. 10 This is because Allah is the Supporter of the believers, whereas the disbelievers do not have any supporter. 11
