Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
By the winds which scatter dust, 1 which carry clouds laden with water, 2 Then by oath of those which move with ease. 3 And those who distribute (it) by command, 4 indeed, that which you are promised is true, 5 And verily, the Recompense is sure to happen. 6 by the heaven full of tracks, 7 Truly ye are in a doctrine discordant, 8 Deluded away from the Qur'an is he who is deluded. 9 Perish will those who just guess and speculate, 10 who flounder in the depths of ignorance. 11 'When will the Day of Judgement be' they ask. 12 On that Day they shall be tried at the Fire, 13 (And it will be said unto them): Taste your torment (which ye inflicted). This is what ye sought to hasten. 14 Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and springs, 15 receiving their reward from their Lord. They had been righteous people before the Day of Judgment. 16 they used to sleep but little by night, 17 and would ask for forgiveness at dawn, 18 In whose wealth the suppliant and the deprived had a share. 19 And on the earth are signs for the certain [in faith] 20 and also in your own selves. Do you not see? 21 In the sky is your provision and that which you are promised. 22 This, by the Lord of the heavens and the earth is as certain as your ability to speak. 23
