And when We substitute a verse in place of a verse - and Allah is most knowing of what He sends down - they say, "You, [O Muhammad], are but an inventor [of lies]." But most of them do not know. 101 Say: 'The Holy Spirit (Gabriel) brought it down from your Lord in truth to confirm those who believe, and to give guidance and glad tidings to those who surrender' 102 And We certainly know that they say, "It is only a human being who teaches the Prophet." The tongue of the one they refer to is foreign, and this Qur'an is [in] a clear Arabic language. 103 God will not guide those who will not believe in the signs of God; and theirs will be a painful punishment. 104 They only invent falsehood who do not believe in the verses of Allah, and it is those who are the liars. 105 Except for those who were forced to engage in infidelity to Allah after believing the while their hearts remained firmly convinced of their belief, the ones whose hearts willingly embraced disbelief shall incur Allah's wrath and a mighty chastisement lies in store for them. 106 That is because they preferred the worldly life over the Hereafter and that Allah does not guide the disbelieving people. 107 They are those upon whose hearts, hearing (ears) and sight (eyes) Allah has set a seal. And they are the heedless! 108 Without doubt, in the Hereafter they will perish. 109 ۞ Surely, your Lord will be forgiving and merciful towards those who migrated after persecution and strove hard for the cause of God and remained steadfast. 110
