'Lord' said Moses, 'expand my chest, 25 And ease for me my task 26 “And untie the knot of my tongue.” 27 That they may understand my speech, 28 Appoint a deputy (for me) from my own people. 29 "Aaron, my brother; 30 Strengthen my back by him, 31 and let him share my task, 32 so that we may glorify 33 and remember You abundantly. 34 You are surely seeing us' 35 God said, "You have been granted your request, Moses." 36 Already another time We favoured thee, 37 When We inspired to your mother what We inspired, 38 “That, ‘Put him into a chest and cast it into the river, so the river shall deposit it on to a shore – therefore one who is an enemy to Me and you, shall pick him up’; and I bestowed upon you love from Myself; and for you to be brought up in My sight.” 39 When your sister went and said: Shall I direct you to one who will take charge of him? So We brought you back to your mother, that her eye might be cooled and she should not grieve and you killed a man, then We delivered you from the grief, and We tried you with (a severe) trying. Then you stayed for years among the people of Madyan; then you came hither as ordained, O Musa. 40 “And I created you especially for Myself.” 41 "Go with your brother. Take My miracles and do not be reluctant in preaching My message. 42 Go ye twain unto Fir'awn, verily he hath waxen exorbitant, 43 Speak to him with gentle words; perhaps he will ponder or fear' 44 'O our Lord,' said Moses and Aaron, 'truly we fear he may exceed against us, or wax insolent.' 45 He said: Fear not, surely I am with you both: I do hear and see. 46 So go ye unto him and say: Lo! we are two messengers of thy Lord. So let the children of Israel go with us, and torment them not. We bring thee a token from thy Lord. And peace will be for him who followeth right guidance. 47 Surely it has been revealed to us that the chastisement will surely come upon him who rejects and turns back. 48 Said Firaun, “So who is the Lord of you both, O Moosa?” 49 (Moses) said: "Our Lord is He who gave everything its natural form and directed it." 50 Pharaoh asked: "Then, what is the state of the former generations?" 51 [Musa (Moses)] said: "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord, in a Record. My Lord is neither unaware nor He forgets, " 52 Who has made earth for you like a bed (spread out); and has opened roads (ways and paths etc.) for you therein; and has sent down water (rain) from the sky. And We have brought forth with it various kinds of vegetation. 53 You eat and let your cattle graze' Surely, in this there are signs for those of understanding. 54
