This, (Quran), is certainly the revelation from the Lord of the Universe. 192 The Trustworthy Spirit has brought it down 193 into your heart, so that you may be a warner, 194 in a clear, Arabic tongue. 195 And verily, [the essence of] this [revelation] is indeed found in the ancient books of divine wisdom [as well]. 196 Is it not evidence enough for them that [so many] learned men from among the children of Israel have recognized this [as true]? 197 (But such is their adamance) that had We revealed it to one of the non-Arabs and even if he had recited (this clear Arabic discourse) to them 198 they would still not have believed in it. 199 Thus it passes through the hearts of the criminals. 200 They will not believe in it until they see the painful torment; 201 It will come upon them suddenly when they are not expecting it. 202 Then they will say: are we to be respited? 203 What, do they seek to hasten Our chastisement? 204 Beholdest thou? if We let them enjoy for years. 205 And then cometh that which they were promised, 206 of what avail to them will be all their past enjoyments? 207 And We destroyed not a city but it had its warners. 208 By way of reminder, and We have never been unjust. 209 And the Shaitans have not come down with it. 210 for, neither does it suit their ends, nor is it in their power [to impart it to man]: 211 Most surely they are far removed from the hearing of it. 212 So call on no other god but God, lest you are condemned to torment; 213 And admonish thy nearest kinsmen, 214 And lower thy wing (in kindness) unto those believers who follow thee. 215 But if they disobey you, then say: Surely I am clear of what you do. 216 and place thy trust in the Almighty, the Dispenser of Grace, 217 Who sees you (O Muhammad SAW) when you stand up (alone at night for Tahajjud prayers). 218 And (seeth) thine abasement among those who fall prostrate (in worship). 219 Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Knowing. 220 Should I tell you on whom the devils descend? 221 They descend on every lying (one who tells lies), sinful person. 222 (Into whose ears) they pour hearsay vanities, and most of them are liars. 223 As for the poets - it is the seduced who follow them. 224 Art thou not aware that they roam confusedly through all the valleys [of words and thoughts,] 225 preaching what they do not practice. 226 The righteously striving believers among them who remember God very often and use their talent to seek help after they have been wronged are the exceptional. The unjust will soon know how terrible their end will be. 227
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
