And We did certainly confer favor upon Moses and Aaron. 114 And saved them and their people from the great distress, 115 And We helped them, so they were the vanquishers. 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 guided them to the right path, 118 And We kept their praise among the latter generations. 119 Peace be unto Musa and Harun. 120 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 121 Verily the twain were of Our bondmen believing. 122 And verily, Iliyas (Elias) was one of the Messengers. 123 When he said to his people, "Will you not fear Allah? 124 Will ye cry unto Baal and forsake the Best of creators, 125 who is your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 But they denounced him as a liar, so they will surely be arraigned (for punishment), 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And We left his (memory) for posterity. 129 Peace be unto Elias! 130 Verily We! thus We recompense the well-doers. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 Verily Lot was one of the apostles, 133 Behold, We delivered him and his adherents, all 134 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 and at night.
