The All High (Al-A'alaa)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ Glorify the name of thy Guardian-Lord Most High, 1 Who created and proportioned 2 and who determines the nature [of all that exists,] and thereupon guides it [towards its fulfilment,] 3 Who brought forth the pasture, 4 Then makes it dried up, dust-colored. 5 We shall make you to recite (the Quran), so you (O Muhammad (Peace be upon him)) shall not forget (it), 6 Except what Allah, may will, He knows what is apparent and what is hidden. 7 We shall ease you to follow the way of Ease. 8 Remind, if the reminder can be of benefit. 9 He who fears (Allah) shall heed it, 10 Only the wretch will turn aside, 11 who will enter the Great Fire, 12 Wherein he will neither die (to be in rest) nor live (a good living). 13 He who purifies himself, 14 who remembers the name of his Lord and prays, shall indeed be successful. 15 But ye prefer the life of this world, 16 Whereas the Hereafter is better and everlasting. 17 Surely this is in the ancient scrolls, 18 In the Books of Ibrahim and Moosa. 19
