The people of Nooh denied the Noble Messengers. 105 When their brother Noah said unto them: Will ye not ward off (evil)? 106 I am a trustworthy messenger for you: 107 Have fear of God and obey me. 108 And I ask of you no wage therefor; my wage is the concern only of the Lord of the Worlds. 109 So fear Allah and obey me." 110 ۞ They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?" 111 He said, "What knowledge do I have of their doings? 112 Lo! their reckoning is my Lord's concern, if ye but knew; 113 And I am not to drive away the believers. 114 I am only a plain warner." 115 They said, "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be of those who are stoned." 116 He said: "My Lord! Verily, my people have belied me. 117 So decide Thou between me and them with a decision, and deliver me and those who are with me of the believers. 118 Thereafter We rescued him and those who were with him in the laden Ark 119 And drowned the rest of them. 120 Surely there is a Sign in this, but most of them would not believe. 121 But surely your Lord is mighty and merciful. 122
