The people of Aykah also gave the lie to the Messengers. 176 Shu'ayb said to them, "Will you not fear God? 177 I have been sent as a trusted messenger to you. 178 So fear Allah and obey me. 179 my wage falls only upon the Lord of all Being. 180 ۞ "Give full measure, and cause no loss (to others). 181 Weigh your goods with proper balance 182 and do not defraud people in their property or spread evil in the land. 183 Have fear of the One who has created you and the generations that lived before you." 184 They said: thou art but of the bewitched; 185 You are nothing but a man like us, and we think you are a liar. 186 "Now cause a piece of the sky to fall on us, if thou art truthful!" 187 Shuayb said: "My Lord knows well all what you do." 188 And they denied him, so the punishment of the day of the black cloud seized them. Indeed, it was the punishment of a terrible day. 189 Most surely there is a sign in this, but most of them do not believe. 190 Verily Your Lord is Immensely Mighty, Most Compassionate. 191
