Commemorate Our Servant Job. Behold he cried to his Lord: "The Evil One has afflicted me with distress and suffering!" 41 (We commanded him): “Stamp your foot on earth, and here is cool water to wash with and to drink.” 42 We restored to him his family and like those with them, a mercy from Us and a reminder to a nation that understand. 43 [We said], "And take in your hand a bunch [of grass] and strike with it and do not break your oath." Indeed, We found him patient, an excellent servant. Indeed, he was one repeatedly turning back [to Allah]. 44 And remember Our servants Ibrahim and Ishaq and Yaqoub, men of power and insight. 45 Verily We did choose them for a special (purpose)- proclaiming the Message of the Hereafter. 46 They were, in Our sight, truly, of the company of the Elect and the Good. 47 Remember also Our servants Ishmael, Elisha, and Dhul Kifl; each is among the excellent. 48 This is a Reminder. The righteous shall have a good place to return to: 49 'Adn (Edn) Paradise (everlasting Gardens), whose doors will be open for them, [It is said (in Tafsir At-Tabari, Part 23, Page 174) that one can speak to the doors, just one tells it to open and close, and it will open or close as it is ordered]. 50 wherein they recline, and wherein they call for fruits abundant, and sweet potions, 51 ۞ having beside them well-matched mates of modest gaze." 52 This is what you are promised for the Day of Reckoning: 53 Our provision for you will never be exhausted. 54 All this (is for the God-fearing). But for the transgressors, an evil resort awaits them -- 55 They shall roast in (the Fire) of Gehenna, an evil cradling. 56 This is so! Then let them taste it, a boiling fluid and dirty wound discharges. 57 And other torments, like thereof, conjoined. 58 Here is a troop rushing headlong with you! No welcome for them! truly, they shall burn in the Fire! 59 They shall say: Nay! you-- no welcome to you: you did proffer it to us, so evil is the resting-place. 60 They will say: "Our Lord! whoever brought this upon us,- Add to him a double Penalty in the Fire!" 61 And they will say: 'Why do we not see the men that we counted as being among the wicked in here? 62 [and] whom we made the target of our derision? Or is it that [they are here, and] our eyes have missed them?" 63 Such, behold, will in truth be the [confusion and] mutual wrangling of the people of the fire! 64
