54 verses, revealed in Mecca after Forgiver (Ghaafer) before Consultation (Al-Shooraa)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Ha Mim! 1 A revelation from [God], the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful -- 2 A Book of which the verses are made plain, an Arabic Quran for a people who know: 3 Giving good news and admonition: yet most of them turn away, and so they hear not. 4 They say, 'Our hearts are veiled from what thou callest us to, and in our ears is a heaviness, and between us and thee there is a veil; so act; we are acting!' 5 Say thou: "I am but a man like you: It is revealed to me by Inspiration, that your Allah is one Allah: so stand true to Him, and ask for His Forgiveness." And woe to those who join gods with Allah,- 6 (To) those who do not give poor-rate and they are unbelievers in the hereafter. 7 The righteously striving believers will have a never-ending reward". 8
