Mutual Blaming (Al-Taghaabun)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
All that is in the heavens and on the earth extols the glory of God. To Him belongs the Kingdom and to Him all praise is due. He has power over all things. 1 It is He who created you. Amongst you is an unbeliever and amongst you is a believer. Allah sees the things you do. 2 He created the heavens and the earth with truth, and He formed you, then made goodly your forms, and to Him is the ultimate resort. 3 He knows whatever is in the heavens and the earth and He knows all what you conceal and what you reveal. Allah knows the innermost of the chests. 4 Have you not heard the news of those before you who disbelieved? They tasted the mischief of their action, and for them is a painful punishment. 5 That was because their messengers (from Allah) kept coming unto them with clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty), but they said: Shall mere mortals guide us? So they disbelieved and turned away, and Allah was independent (of them). Allah is Absolute, Owner of Praise. 6 The Unbelievers think that they will not be raised up (for Judgment). Say: "Yea, By my Lord, Ye shall surely be raised up: then shall ye be told (the truth) of all that ye did. And that is easy for Allah." 7 So believe in God, His Apostle and the Light We have sent down. God is well aware of what you do. 8 (You shall come to know that) when He will assemble you on the Day of Gathering. That shall be the Day (to determine) mutual gains and losses. Whoever believes in Allah and acts righteously, Allah will have his evil deeds expunged and will admit him to Gardens beneath which rivers flow. Therein they shall abide forever. That is the supreme triumph. 9 But those who disbelieve and deny Our revelations, such are owners of the Fire; they will abide therein - a hapless journey's end! 10
