Nay, by the Moon 32 And by the Night as it retreateth, 33 By the dawn when it lightens! 34 Indeed hell is one of the greatest entities. 35 Warn the men. 36 Whoever of you desires to progress or lag behind. 37 Each one is a hostage to one's deeds, 38 save the People of the Right Hand 39 In Gardens, they seek answers, 40 From the guilty. 41 “What took you into the hell?” 42 They will answer: "We did not fulfil our devotional obligations, 43 And we used not to feed the poor; 44 and we indulged in vain talk with those who indulged in vain talk, 45 And rejected the Day of Judgement as a lie 46 till the certainty (death) overtook us' 47 So, the intercession of intercessors will not avail them. 48 Then what is the matter with them that they turn away from admonition?- 49 like startled wild donkeys 50 Fleeing from a lion! 51 Rather, every person among them desires that he would be given scriptures spread about. 52 By no means! But they fear not the Hereafter, 53 There is no doubt that the Quran is a guide. 54 Let him then who heeds remember it. 55 But they will not remember except as God wills: He is worthy to be feared, and He is worthy of forgiving 56
