Verily We! it is We Who have revealed unto thee the Qur'an, a gradual revelation. 23 So be patient for the decision of your Lord and do not obey from among them a sinner or ungrateful [disbeliever]. 24 And remember thou the name of thy Lord in the morning and in the evening. 25 and during some of the night, and prostrate thyself before Him, and extol His limitless glory throughout the long night. 26 Indeed these people love what they have, the fleeting one, and have forsaken the immensely important day behind them. 27 It is We Who created them, and strengthened their skeleton; and We can replace them with others like them, whenever We will. 28 This is indeed an advice; so whoever wishes may take the path towards his Lord. 29 But you cannot will, unless Allah wills. Verily, Allah is Ever All-Knowing, All-Wise. 30 He admits whosoever He will to His benevolence. But for the evil-doers He has prepared a painful punishment. 31
