Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
۞ When heaven is split open, 1 And when the stars have fallen and scattered; 2 when the oceans are gushed forth, 3 and when the graves are overturned 4 everyone shall know all his deeds, both the earlier and the later. 5 O man! What has deceived you about your generous Lord 6 Him Who created thee. Fashioned thee in due proportion, and gave thee a just bias; 7 Into whatsoever form He will, He casteth thee. 8 Not at all – but rather you deny the establishment of Justice. 9 yet there are over you watchers 10 Honorable recorders, 11 aware of whatever you do! 12 Surely the virtuous shall be in Bliss, 13 and the libertines shall be in a fiery furnace 14 In which they will enter, and taste its burning flame on the Day of Recompense, 15 And will not be removed from it. 16 What will make you realize what the Day of Judgement will be? 17 Again, what will make you realize what the day of judgment is? 18 The day on which no soul will have the authority over any other soul; and on that day, the entire command belongs to Allah. 19
