Blessed be He who has set in heaven constellations, and has set among them a lamp, and an illuminating moon. 61 And it is He Who made the Night and the Day to follow each other: for such as have the will to celebrate His praises or to show their gratitude. 62 (Among) the servants of the Beneficent God are those who walk gently on the earth and when addressed by the ignorant ones, their only response is, "Peace be with you." 63 who pass their nights in prostrating themselves and standing before their Lord: 64 who pray, "Lord, protect us from the torment of hell; it is a great loss. 65 verily, how evil an abode and a station!"; 66 And those who, when spending, neither exceed the limits nor act miserly, and stay in moderation between the two. 67 And they who do not call upon another god with Allah and do not slay the soul, which Allah has forbidden except in the requirements of justice, and (who) do not commit fornication and he who does this shall find a requital of sin; 68 Whose punishment will be doubled on the Day of Judgement, and he will live for ever in disgrace, 69 except for those who repent and believe and do good deeds. God will change the evil deeds of such people into good ones: He is most forgiving and most merciful. 70 He who repents and does good works truly turns to Allah in repentance, 71 And those who do not give false evidence, and if they come across unbecoming talk ignore it and pass by in a sedate way; 72 who do not behave like the blind and the deaf, when the Revelations of their Lord are recited to them for admonition; 73 And those who say, "Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example for the righteous." 74 Those are the ones who will be rewarded with the highest place in heaven, because of their patient constancy: therein shall they be met with salutations and peace, 75 Therein they shall dwell forever; fair it is as a lodging-place and an abode. 76 Say: 'My Lord cares little for you if it was not for your supplication, indeed you have belied (the Messenger and the Koran) so it (the punishment) will be fastened' 77
