With power did We construct the heaven. Verily, We are Able to extend the vastness of space thereof. 47 And the earth We have spread out, and excellent is the preparer. 48 and We created pairs of all things so that you might reflect. 49 Flee, therefore, to Allah. Surely I am a clear warner to you from Him; 50 And make not another an object of worship with Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 51 Thus there did not come to those before them an apostle but they said: A magician or a mad man. 52 Have they handed this down to one another? They are certainly a people who exceed all bounds, 53 so ignore them, you are not to blame, 54 Keep on reminding them. This benefits the believers. 55 I created the jinn and mankind only so that they might worship Me: 56 I desire of them no provision, neither do I desire that they should feed Me. 57 Indeed, it is Allah who is the [continual] Provider, the firm possessor of strength. 58 And indeed for these unjust is also a turn of punishment, like that of their companions – so they must not ask Me to hasten. 59 Woe to the disbelievers when the day with which they have been threatened comes! 60
