Proof (Al-Bayyinah)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
The deniers of truth from among the People of the Book and the polytheists would not desist from disbelief until they received clear evidence -- 1 An messenger from Allah, rehearsing scriptures kept pure and holy: 2 Within which are correct writings. 3 Nor did those who were given the Scripture become divided until after there had come to them clear evidence. 4 They were commanded only to serve God with all-exclusive faith in Him, to be upright, and to fulfil their devotional obligations, and to give zakat; for this is the even way. 5 Indeed, they who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists will be in the fire of Hell, abiding eternally therein. Those are the worst of creatures. 6 (As for) those who believe and do good, surely they are the -best of men. 7 Their reward with their Lord is 'Adn (Eden) Paradise (Gardens of Eternity), underneath which rivers flow, they will abide therein forever, Allah Well-Pleased with them, and they with Him. That is for him who fears his Lord. 8
