And indeed this Qur'an has been sent down by the Lord Of The Creation. 192 which the truthful spirit has carried down 193 upon thy heart, that thou mayest be one of the warners, 194 In a clear Arabic language. 195 Without doubt it is (announced) in the mystic Books of former peoples. 196 Is it not a sign unto them that the learned among the Children of Isra'il know it? 197 But [even] had We bestowed it from on high upon any of the non-Arabs, 198 and he had recited it to them, they would not have believed in it. 199 Even so We have caused it to enter into the hearts of the sinners, 200 They will not believe in it until they see the painful punishment. 201 so that it will come upon them suddenly, while they are unaware, 202 Then they will say: are we to be respited? 203 Seek haste then they with our torment? 204 Just think: If We let them enjoy the good things of life for a few years more, 205 And then what they were promised comes upon them, 206 It will profit them not that they enjoyed (this life)! 207 Never a city We destroyed, but it had warners 208 By way of reminder, and We have never been unjust. 209 The satans did not bring down this (Clear Book), 210 Neither would it suit them, nor they can (produce it). 211 Truly, they are expelled from hearing. 212 So call not on any other god with Allah, or thou wilt be among those under the Penalty. 213 And warn your nearest relations, 214 And lower thou thy wing unto those who follow thee as believers. 215 But if they disobey you, then say: Surely I am clear of what you do. 216 Have trust in the Majestic and All-merciful God, 217 Who watches you when you stand up. 218 And thy movements among those who fall prostrate. 219 Indeed only He is the All Hearing, the All Knowing. 220 O people, shall I tell you on whom it is that satans descend? 221 They descend on every guilty impostor. 222 They listen, but most of them are liars. 223 And the astray follow the poets. 224 Have you not seen them wandering and bewildered in every valley 225 and preaching what they themselves never practice. 226 Save those who believe and do good works, and remember Allah much, and vindicate themselves after they have been wronged. Those who do wrong will come to know by what a (great) reverse they will be overturned! 227
