Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven shall be cleft, 1 and when the stars are scattered; 2 And when the oceans are swept away. 3 And when the Graves are turned upside down;- 4 Every soul will come to know what it has sent ahead and what it left behind. 5 O human! What has deceived you concerning your Generous Lord 6 The One Who created you, then moulded you, then made you proper? 7 in whatever composition He wanted. 8 Nay! But ye do reject Right and Judgment! 9 But verily, over you (are appointed angels in charge of mankind) to watch you. 10 watching over you 11 who know all that you do: 12 Indeed the virtuous are in serenity. 13 And indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire. 14 They shall enter it on the Day of Recompense 15 to burn therein. 16 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Day of Judgment is! 17 Again would that you only knew how terrible it really is! 18 A day on which no soul hath power at all for any (other) soul. The (absolute) command on that day is Allah's. 19
Almighty Allah's Truth.

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
