The trumpet will be blown and, at once, they will rise up from their graves, and hasten to their Lord. 51 "Woe betide us!" they will say, "Who has roused us from our sleep?" This is what the Lord of Mercy promised: the messengers spoke the truth! 52 It would be but a single blast of the trumpet, and they would all be arraigned before Us. 53 So today no soul shall be wronged anything, and you shall not be recompensed, except according to what you have been doing. 54 Indeed the companions of Paradise, that Day, will be amused in [joyful] occupation - 55 They and their spouses - in shade, reclining on adorned couches. 56 therein there will be all kinds of fruits to eat, and they shall have all that they desire. 57 Peace, a saying from the Most Merciful Lord. 58 "But stand aside today, O you who were lost in sin! 59 ۞ Did I not charge you, O children of Adam! that you should not serve the Shaitan? Surely he is your open enemy, 60 and that you should worship Me [alone]? This would have been a straight way! 61 "But he did lead astray a great multitude of you. Did ye not, then, understand? 62 This is hell which ye were promised (if ye followed him). 63 Enter it this Day on account of your denial of the truth." 64 This day We will set a seal on their mouths, and their hands will speak out to Us and their feet will bear witness to their deeds. 65 And if We willed, We could have obliterated their eyes, and they would race to [find] the path, and how could they see? 66 And if We listed, surely We should transform them in their places, so that they would be able neither to go forward nor to return. 67
