Al-Zalzalah
The Quake (Al-Zalzalah)
8 verses, revealed in Medina after Women (Al-Nesaa) before Iron (Al-Hadeed)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
When the earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion, 1 And when the earth throws out its burdens, 2 and the human asks: "What is the matter with it?" 3 On that day the earth will declare all (the activities of the human being) which have taken place on it, 4 Because your Lord had inspired her. 5 Upon that day men shall issue in scatterings to see their works, 6 And so, he who shall have done an atom's weight of good, shall behold it; 7 And whosoever hath worked ill of an atom's weight shall behold it. 8
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
